Undergrads win first and third place in AEJMC international journalism contest

Two JSchool students have won international journalism awards for stories written in Prof. Yusuf Kalyango’s Foreign Correspondence course.

Chu Yang‘s story, “Rap in the Name of Buddha,” took first place in the 2011 student international multimedia news story contest organized by the International Communication Division of the AEJMC.

Alex Stuckey‘s story, “Fuel Briquettes Help Reduce Charcoal Usage,” won third place in the contest.
