Here is where you can hear local candidates

(September 26, 2017) — The Franklin County Consortium for Good Government will host a series of forums to look at local candidates and issues that will be on the ballot Nov. 7.

All meet-and-greets start at 6:30 p.m. with the forums beginning at 7 p.m. All forums, with the expectation of the one in Worthington, will conclude at about 9 p.m. The Worthington forum will end at about 10 p.m.

● Sept. 26, Prairie Township Community Center, 5955 W Broad St., Galloway, OH 43119. WOSU’s Debbie Holmes will be moderating the forum about Prairie Township trustees, South West School Board and state Issue 2.

● Sept. 28, Northland Performing Arts Center, 4411 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229. Jerry Revish of TV10 will be moderating the forum for Columbus City Council, Columbus city attorney, Franklin County Municipal Court clerk and Issue 2. 10TV will stream the forum.

● Oct. 3, Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. The forum will look at the at-large Reynoldsburg City Council, Reynoldsburg Board of Education, Reynoldsburg city auditor, Truro Township trustees and Reynoldsburg charter amendments.

● Oct. 10, All Saints Academy, 2855 E Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43209. TV10′s Scott Light will moderate the forum focusing on Columbus City Board of Education, Municipal Court judges, and Columbus City Council.

● Oct 18, Columbus Idea Foundry, 421 W. State St., Columbus, OH 43215. The forum will look at Columbus City Council, Municipal Court judges, Columbus city auditor, and Columbus city attorney. ABC6 will stream the forum.

● Oct. 19, Bexley City Hall, 2242 E. Main St., Bexley, Ohio 43209. NBC4′s Mark E. Taylor will moderate the forum looking at the judicial races for Municipal Court, Bexley Board of Education and Bexley City Council.

● Oct. 24, McConnell Art Center, 777 Evening St., Columbus, OH 43085. Worthington City Council, Worthington City Board of Education and Sharon Township trustees will be discussed at the forum hosted by NBC4′s Ellie Merritt.

Voter registration must be received by Oct. 10 and the Franklin County Board of Elections will be open until 9 p.m. that day taking registrations.
