Louttit (BSJ '08) starts new position at New York Times

Meghan Louttit (BS Journalism ’08) recently started a new position at the New York Times, where she has served on the multimedia team since November 2010. In her new position, she works with Investigations as their dedicated producer. As Multimedia Producer, Investigations, Louttit is in charge of the web presence and any multimedia or web-only pieces for the desk. Of the new position, Loutit said, ďI can already see itís going to be quite a challenge, but I think itís a great step in the right direction for me.

Prior to her first position at the New York Times, Louttit was a producer at the Wall Street Journal. In this position, she worked on special projects and updated WSJ’s local homepage.

Louttit was voted "Outstanding Senior, Online Journalism" in 2008. During her time at the journalism school, she was involved with Scoop08, MediaBistro.com and Speakeasy.com, among other things.
