Attention, journalism majors:
OHIO UNIVERSITY’S E.W. SCRIPPS SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM invites students to apply for STATEHOUSE NEWS BUREAU FELLOWSHIPS in Columbus, Ohio’s capital (and largest) city. The fellowships are made possible in part with the generous support of the SCRIPPS HOWARD FOUNDATION .
Fellows earn course-credit for public-affairs reporting.
Students are based at THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH or other mass-media organizations with a presence at Ohio’s Statehouse, such as Cincinnati’s Channel 9 [WCPO] or Ohio Public Radio-TV. Students wishing to be considered for fall semester 2017 should send:
* an application letter, including full contact details
* up-to-date résumé
* two letters of recommendation [which may be composed and sent online], and
* three- to five clips or other examples [in print, video or online media, etc.] of the applicant’s reporting, to:
