Ohio College of Business seeking Graphic Design Intern

The College of Business Department of Marketing and Communication seeks a Student Graphic Design Intern. This position will develop your portfolio and gain experience working for more than 10 clients across undergraduate, graduate and executive education programs within OHIO’s College of Business. As a visual brand manager, you’ll work the Marketing and Communication team to uphold University and college brand guidelines while tapping into your creativity. Projects will be used to support the college’s internal and external communication efforts.

Essential Duties:

• Develops posters, flyers, brochures and other visual media as assigned.

• Collaborates with the College of Business MarCom team to execute visual branding concepts and best practices.

• Assist in reviewing graphic design project requests and managing project timelines.

• Serves as a liaison to clients to communicate project timelines, approve artwork and schedule print production.

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (software provided by MarCom team)

• Oversees final production with printing services to ensure that deadlines are met and projects are printed to the highest quality.

Minimum Qualifications:Experience in graphic design, publication design, visual communications or related field; Customer service skills; Ability to work with minimum supervision; Cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, clients, and guests; Excellent interpersonal skills; Critical thinking skills; Planning and organization skills.

Interns will be paid $9.00 per hour and are expected to work at least 10 hours per week.
